Role Description

 Responsibilities 

•  Independently lead and coordinate grid connection issues internally and externally 
•  Ensure that risks and problems are uncovered and informed to the management 
•  Undertake the communication with external parties
•  Ensure project technology and activities are compliant with local legislation, recommendations and best practices 
•  That the grid connections interfaces to other disciplines are identified and coordinated 

Tasks 

•  Participate in relevant project meetings and collaborate with other team members on shared issues 
•  Develop connection strategy and options 
•  Preparation of grid connection applications 
•  Review grid connection offers and negotiate conditions 
•  Prepare input to EIA concerning cables and substations 
•  Scope out work and manage land agents and consultants 
•  Present grid connection solutions, including status and risks 
•  Design overall electrical system of wind farm and transmission asset in accordance with grid code 
•  Prepare cost estimate CAPEX/(OPEX) according to projects requirements 
•  Contribute to various project gate documents 
•  Participate in contract negotiations and meetings with suppliers 
•  Involve internal / external specialists when appropriate 
•  Prepare contributions to consultation responses 
•  Participate in day to day work concerning the electrical part 
•  Technical support the OFTO sales process
